To reach out to people and make them know they are not alone on their mental health journey and educate them on ways to overcome mental illnesses by speaking about personal experiences and learning from mental health professionals. The event included a welcome speech by the founder of ASADS, Dare Asobele and Yemi Adeyemi, Founder, Yemi Adeyemi Foundation. Aize Drizella Urhoghide(Miss Aviation Nigeria 2018), Maryam Giwa (Story teller), Uriel Ngozi Oputa (Guest speaker). Highlighting a major factor that hinders mental health aid, Pamilerin emphasised, “cry for help, speaking out is all you need to do. Silence drowns you deeper.” Psychologist, Dennis Agbeti elaborated the role of positive affirmation and fear in mental health while Mother Are noted that once a person begins to educate himself and discuss about mental health, one becomes an unlicensed therapist.
